1 Program Objectives
This discipline targets on non-Chinese speaking foreign students or overseas Chinese with undergraduate degree diploma or Bachelor degree. They will be recruited for two major fields – Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering – in the discipline of Environmental Science and Engineering. The major courses include Process Engineering Principles, Frontier Lectures on Environmental Science and Engineering, Environmental Pollution Simulation and Control, Environmental Biology, Experiment Design and Data Analysis, together with Literature Review, Book Report and Dissertation. We aim to train high-level professional talents with solid theory basis, professional skills, broad scope of knowledge, strong adaptability and creativity, who are able to undertake scientific research or engineering design of waste water, exhaust gas and solid wastes control and treatment.
2 Program Duration, Credit and Degree Awarded
A flexible duration of program normally for 2.5 years, with a maximum of 4.5 years, will be applied. Master degree of engineering will be awarded to the students who successfully earn at no less than 29 credits.
3 Course Language
All the courses, including degree dissertation, will be in English.
4 Main Courses
Compulsory courses: Process Engineering Principles, Frontier Lectures on Environmental Science and Engineering, Environmental Pollution Simulation and Control, Environmental Biology, Experiment Design and Dada Analysis.
Optional courses: Data Simulation Technology of Waste Water Treatment, Theory and Engineering of Waste Water Treatment, Membrane Technology for Waste Water Treatment, Advanced Separation Engineering, Solid Waste Disposal and Resource Utilization Engineering, Research Methods on Solid Wastes Ecotoxicology, Electric Dust Removal Theory and Technologies, Latest Treatment Technologies of Exhaust Gas, Molecular Environmental Ecology, Environment Biological Treatment Technologies, etc.
5 About Application
Application Time: September 1st to July 31st of next year
Requirements for Applicant:
- Aged from 18 to 40 years old and in good physical condition;
- Applicants should have undergraduate degree diploma;
- English language requirement for the programs delivered in English: TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0 for non-native English speakers;
- Applicants should have solid knowledge of English and Mathematics.
Required Documents for application:
- Filled application form for foreign students in Zhejiang Gongshang University
- Bachelor degree diploma and courses transcripts;
- TOEFL or IELTS, HSK score report;
- Resume;
- Two letters of recommendation (three letters of recommendation if employed);
- Bank financial statement from applicant or guarantor/guardian;
- One photocopies of passport and 5 photos;

6 Enrollment
After receiving the above-mentioned materials, Zhejiang Gongshang University will make an assessment and send Admission Notice, JW 202 form and other relevant documents for your visa application if application is accepted.
7 Fees
- Tuition: RMB 22,000 yuan per year
- Books: to charge at the actual cost
- Accommodation: RMB 2,600 yuan per year for double room, RMB 5,200 yuan per year for single room

8 Scholarships
