To
deepen the reform of education and teaching, make steady headway in Four-New
(new engineering, new medical, new agriculture, and new liberal arts)
disciplinary construction and digital plus training mode, and thus meet the
requirement of fully developed socialist builders and successors adapting to
social and economic development, guided by the 14th Five-Year Plan
and the aim of constructing outstanding university, demonstration meeting on
2023 undergraduate training program of School of Environmental Science and
Engineering has been held on line on April 22nd . The meeting aimed to discuss
and inquire the present training program schemes of each major. The meeting was
moderated by Professor Wang Qi, deputy dean of School of Environmental Science
and Engineering. Senior Engineer Sun Lu of Zhejiang Provincial Ecological
Environment Science Design and Research Institution, Professor Yuan Hong of
Central China Normal University, Deputy GM Wang Yufeng of Zhejiang Zone-King
Environmental Scitech Co., Ltd, Senior Engineer Wang Xiaomin of Zhejiang
Environment Technology Co., Ltd, Senior Engineer Xu Hengtao of Second Institute
of Oceanography, MNR were invited.
To begin with, executive dean Professor
Wang Meizhen delivered a welcome speech to five experts expressing gratitude
for suggestions and experiences shared for training program, and introduced
each major of the school. Ren Yinjun, Han Jingyi, Li Jun, Chairmen of each
department respectively gave reports on the process of training program scheme
revision on Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Supply and
Drainage System Engineering, and introduced basic information including
training aims, graduation requirements, curriculum systems, etc.
Then experts conducted inquiries into
training program schemes. Professor Liu Huijun, Jiang Boqiong, as well as
chairmen of each department answered inquiries. Experts fully discussed on key
issues, provided revision suggestions, and reached an agreed conclusion that
the training program schemes are of specific training aims, rational graduation
requirements and curriculum provision meeting the requirements of professional
accreditation, according with the trend of working fields.
This demonstration meeting has further
sorted out the difficulties of training program revision, made headway in
developing New Engineering discipline, and thus laid a solid foundation for
cultivating graduates of integrated knowledge and
skills on both engineering and commerce adapting to the development of regional
economics and society.
